You're quite right comedyrodie - its far too quiet in here...
But I'm glad you got your wish and Mike put up a couple of clips from the gig, and hopefully more still to come!
It was an excellent gig, and I'm really glad I was able to travel up for it.
I don't think it was the best I've seen from Pallas, but there was a tangible excitement and enthusiasm, on and off stage that made it a really special occasion. Paul did himself proud - and as a unit the band were solid. It was also so obvious how much the XXV material has come on-listento Monster on YouTube - its come on leaps and bounds from when I saw them at the Glasgow Ferry last, and Paul brings his own slant on it.
But as much as it was an event, it was still quiet compared to the reception they'll receive when they revisit Glasgow - Aberdeen for whatever reason is just a wee bit more restrained... with new material and a new frontman, this is a band revitalised, and with festivals already booked this year, this could be a very big year for Pallas!
PS - Jo McCafferty contributed to a great evening, and her new album 'Overtaking on a bend' is certainly worth exploring.
